I have had a passion for travel from a very young age. Having travelled to many short haul destinations with my family as a child and continued this habit as I have grown older I enjoy nothing more than seeing new destinations.
When I left school I had ambitions to work in one of the major airports and was also in touch with some of the major airlines in relation to pursuing a job as an air stewardess. Having had some interest of various companies I soon realised leaving my beautiful home town of Tenby and family was just too much so continued my education in the local college studying Travel and Tourism at GNVQ and HND level. Shortly after completing my college education I was rewarded with a full time travel consultant job in one of the local agencies. I remained in this job role for almost five years, working between two rather busy offices. We had a very diverse selection of clients so have valuable experience in seeking out all sorts of holiday products dependant on my clients taste and budget. I believe there is something there for everyone so unlike some of my colleague's working there at the time I was prepared to put in every effort and as much time as necessary to find the perfect product for my clients. I left this agency to pursue some other career options but none I enjoyed quite as much as working in travel.
I researched many companies before taking up post as a home-worker for Designer Travel and Cruises but no other company had such an experienced and friendly team as what Designer Travel have. Therefore I want to help retain the companies excellent reputation and assist in it growing from strength to strength by doing my very best to meet my clients needs.
I am well travelled to a variety of short haul destinations. I have travelled throughout the Mainland Spain, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Greek Islands and more so you could say my area of expertise is more for these short haul destinations. Other destinations I feel I have gained valuable insight in through my experiences as a travel agent are Caribbean,USA, Dubai, Australia, Middle East and some of the up and coming destinations such as the Cape Verde Islands and The Gambia. In addition to this I'm also an experienced cruise line specialist so can assist with cruise enquiries wherever the destination.
Once I have discussed my clients requirements I seek out the most suitable options with budget in mind. I can arrange fly cruises or if it works out more cost effective can book a cruise only and add on flights and transfers separately.
