Hello, I’m Ava, and I have worked as a Personal Holiday Advisor and cruise specialist for several years.
I love cruises!........Ever since our first sailing years ago, my husband and I have been hooked! Like most people who had never cruised before, we were sceptical - unsure whether it would suit us, wondering if we would be bored, find it ‘too formal’, feel claustrophobic, or even want to get off before we reached port!....but none of that was true at all.There really is a ship to suit everyone, from small and intimate, to large and imposing . Each cruise line has its own unique style, some are for adults only, others are family-friendly. The range of itineraries is phenomenal, you can cruise just about everywhere. You can sail out of many UK ports, or of course fly out to join your ship, at ports throughout the world. What better way to travel, visiting all these fascinating destinations, and with your luxury accommodation in tow!
In June I will be attending the UK Cruise Convention in Southampton, where I expect to visit some more wonderful new ships, and see and learn even more about this truly exciting industry.
